Our client is a well-established Swiss private bank with an international footprint and a longstanding reputation for excellence in Wealth Management and specialized banking services. Headquartered in Switzerland, the institution serves an international clientele through a relationship-driven approach, combining entrepreneurial spirit, personalized service, and robust risk management practices.
As part of its continued growth strategy, our client is seeking an experienced Private Banker to strengthen its presence in Geneva and further expand its international client base.
Requirements
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial banker with a proven ability to acquire and develop long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing assets under management while delivering tailored wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and professional intermediaries.
Frequent travel may be required to support business development initiatives across the target markets.
Keys responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through active prospecting and networking.
- Provide trusted wealth management advice in collaboration with investment specialists and portfolio managers.
- Build long-term client relationships through regular and proactive engagement.
- Promote cross-selling opportunities across the bank's range of services.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory and risk management standards.
- Contribute to a strong culture of integrity, professionalism, and client excellence.
Candidate Profile
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of successful experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
Previous experience within a Swiss banking institution.
Demonstrated track record in client acquisition and portfolio development.
Existing network of HNW/UHNW clients within relevant markets.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, foreign exchange, and discretionary portfolio management.
Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and financial professionals.
Strong commercial acumen, business development mindset, and relationship management skills.
High ethical standards, risk awareness, and regulatory understanding.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English and French. Additional languages such as Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, or Turkish would be considered a strong asset.
SAQ Wealth Management, CFA, or CAIA certification would be advantageous.
